Information For Authors

Results of finalized original researches, which are formed as an article, are published in current journal. Articles are published in English, Russian and Ukrainian in a hard copy form according to the decision of the editorial board. Copies are also added to the electronical version on the internet site.


Documents, which are needed for the article registration:


  1. The following documents are sent in hard copy:


• two copies of the article (including resume in tree languages, text, tables, pictures, labels and references), which are numbered from the first to the last page with the signs of all authors on the last page;

• Assigment of copyrights should be signed by all authors in two copies agreement.


  1. The following documents are sent by е-mail:


• replicated copy of the article  (file name with the first author’s name in English, e.g. torgalo.doc);

• black-and-white pictures in one of the common graphic format «ppt», «xls» or «psd» (ris1_torgalo.ppt, ris2_torgalo.xls);

• information about the authors (auth_torgalo.doc): surname, name (highlight the one who can be contacted for mailing), fax and telephone number as well as names and addresses of the establishments, in which research was performed in English, Russian and Ukrainian, e.g.

Rules for manuscript preparation


The materials for publishing should be gven in Microsoft Word format, paper size А4, portrait orientation, type Arial – size 9, line-to-line spacing – 1. Volume  (including resume in tree languages, text, tables, pictures, labels and references) of the experimental article should not exceed   25000printable characters.


All manuscripts must contain:


UDK index;

title of the paper;

surname and initials of all authors;

title and e-mail address of the authors establishment(s);

e-mail address of the corresponding authors;

abstract in English, Russian and Ukrainian with identical content (up to 1800 characters, including spaces). For the experimental papers resume should be structured and necessarily contain words: Aim,Methods, Results, Conclusions, Key words (not more than six);

proposed text structure of the experimental article: “Introducton”, “Matherials and Methods”, “Results and discussion”, “Conclusions”, «Acknowledgements».

-  Tables should have title and number. Comments are located directly above them.

Quantity of pictures can’t be more than four. All bulky signs should be substituted with either numerical or literal labels. Label explanations should go to the signs.

In case of presence of any grants in «Acknowledgements» its number, name and fund should be necessarily mentioned.

-  List of References prepared according to the rules, listed here.

References are numbered in the order of mentioning in the text, where they are labeled with the ordinal number in square brackets. It is not allowed to use hyperlinks and refer to the Internet sites.


Dear authors! Incorrectly written articles aren’t accepted!


All articles are subjected to careful peer-review by two independent experts from the editorial board. After this, the reviewed copy of the article with suggested remarks is sent to the authors. Corrected and reprinted copy of the article, agreed with the reviewers, is judged as the final version. This version should be signed by the authors and reviewers with remark “To print”. After this any corrections and changes of text, figures and tables are not allowed. While publishing the article, the editorial board takes into account the date of final version receipt. In the case of article rejection, the editorial board sends the notification to the corresponding author and gives back one copy of the article. We draw your attention to the fact that agreement of author right transfer is valid after the article has been accepted. The agreement automatically becomes invalid in the case of article rejection. Agreement signing by the author(s) means that all authors are informed about the rules and have no objections.

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in *.doc, *.docx or *.rtf file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references (PubMed IDs and DOIs) have been provided.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 9-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end; the text doesn't exceed 25000 printable characters; font - Arial.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
